Peter Surhoff
Vice President of IT Operations and Technical Support
Peter serves as the Vice President of IT Operations and Technical support for Major League Baseball, Peter is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Technology Operations including the delivery of IT products and services to MLB customers and support of the organization's internal systems, applications and processes.
Peter has been with MLB for 15 years providing strategic direction and oversight to the Baseball Office of the Commissioner, affiliated entities and the Major League clubs. He was instrumental in transforming MLB's IT Department into the world-class service organization it is today.
Prior to joining Major League Baseball, Peter worked for Esselte Meto as Information Technology Manager where he advised executive leadership on systems strategy and business process optimization, with a mandate to strengthen sales and marketing operations.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Caldwell College.
